System Engineer
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 5 - 10 years of experience.
Experience in Cable Modem and Router functionality Regression, sanity, and ad hoc testing Networking knowledge Unix/Linux OS Jira, Test Rail or Octane usage Database, API tools usage Cloud knowledge Information for EVP, Justin Colwell: Impact w/o Resource: Risk burnout of existing resources based on the 2024 pipeline. Additional work force needed to ensure able to meet timelines and testing without risking high priority projects (WiFi 7, Spec Ready, Static IP, Sierra Project).
